Well...here we are. Down to the single digits until our due date. Granted, I know that first babies can be quite often over-due, so I'm not counting my chickens before they're hatched, but we're getting close to show time. We have everything ready for our little one to come join us. We've been into the once-a-week doctor visits for 3 appointments now, and don't have a lot of progress. But patience is a virtue. Jeff and I have been going for lots of walks in the evenings to try to help things along at least a little. I only have 3 more days with my students (and only one of those is a full day), and 2 days after that to finish out my teaching contract. I'm hoping to make it through Friday, or at least Thursday, with baby snugly inside my belly, as much as I would much rather snuggle him in my arms. Needless to say, we are ready for Jackson to be born, physically anyway. We're nervous, as I'm sure all first-time parents are, but everything will be just fine.
Oh...and I still haven't gotten up the energy to take pictures of the apartment. They will come...just not yet.
